Everton had had 11 different badges across their existence but this was the first one. Created in 1920 it was used for 18 years throughout the three First Division title wins 1927–28, 1931–32, 1938–39 as well as their 1930-31 Second Division title and the 1932-33 FA Cup win too. A simple creation, which seems inspired by a classic school badge. Easy to imagine it on a blazer pocket.
